Hey Friends,

We know it’s been a while since we’ve posted. I’m sure many of you who follow Empowering Hope know that Lauren and I not only got engaged in September, but we also just got married a week and a half ago! It’s been a crazy two months, but we’re excited for what God is doing.

It may sound crazy, but we actually had October 21st set as a wedding date before we got engaged. And even more actually, we were talking about getting married this October/November since last January. So for many people it was a surprise, but for us, it couldn’t have come any sooner. We couldn’t very well have a wedding without also having jobs, so once those things lined up we were able to tie the knot!

Now for the fun part! Lauren and I have been dreaming about Empowering Hope since before we even knew each other. But now God has brought us together to, well, bring you – the church body – together. We know we have a lot of work to do in order to accomplish everything God has. God is doing something unique and I’m excited to join in on what He is doing with Empowering Hope.

What’s Next:

  1. We want to keep dialoging on different themes. We’re gunna be a little cliché in November and focus on Gratitude. We have a lot of cool things lined up and we’re looking forward to having you get involved. Lauren and I may have started Empowering Hope, but our goal is for everyone to have a hand in this.
  2. We’re in the works on planning our next trip. As soon as we have the confirmation, you’ll be the first to know. Be looking for it in the coming weeks. This will require a lot because a documentary will be coming out of this. We’ll need graphic artists, music composers, financial supporters, a prayer team, and much more.
  3. Our first phase is focused on missionaries, but we really want to begin cultivating relationships with churches and ministries and we move into our second phase. Remember, our overarching goal is to build a bridge between missionaries, churches, and ministries that empowers the body of Christ to live out their potential and God-given purpose.

Of course, this is just the tip of the Ice Berg. There’s a lot brewing with Empowering Hope that I don’t even think we know about. So we ask you guys to be praying for us so that we can minister the best to you.
